LARGE CANS

About half way through working on the series I decided to take the small cans to the next level.  We figured out a way to "supersize" them.  Here are 2 of the large cans I have been working on which are 3 feet in height.

We will be releasing 15 of these tomorrow along with the small cans at the opening at Medicine Agency in San Francisco. It was nice feeling to work on a larger format after painting such of a small surface area for so many months.

We are wrapping up hanging the show and finalizing the windows today. See you tomorrow in SF!

ATLANTA to SAN FRANCISCO IN 3 DAYS

Last Tuesday we rented a 6' x 12' U-haul trailer and loaded up the artwork for the show. I've never done the ATL to CALI drive before and I must admit it wasn't a quick trip.  Without the ipod, redbulls and chappelle show dvd's we wouldn't have made it.

The first night we reached Arkansas and caught some shut eye at a random hotel. We woke up to nasty thunderstorms at 8AM and got back on the road.  We hit Arizona the second day where it was brutally cold and snowing. Finally, 36 driving hours from Atlanta we cruised into San Francisco around 10PM on Friday.

17 DAYS TILL THE SAN FRANCISCO OPENING

Just a few days left till we pack up and head to the west coast to handle the install for the POPSTARS and COKEHEADS show at MEDICINE AGENCY.  Initially we planned on shipping the art to San Francisco but as the series grew so did the size of some of the pieces.  Along with the small cans we have a ton of pieces are a little to big to be shipped.

With this being said we will be taking a truck out west and documenting the trip along the way. We will be heading out mid next week to arrive just in time for the Halloween festivities.

Getting nerdy in the lab.

THE LOUDMOUTH KOOZIE

Since warm beverages are never cool it seemed only right to create the loudmouth koozie to keep your cans frosty.

As you can imagine, when the box of these rolled up to the studio yesterday, it was a must we run to the local corner store to make sure they did the job.

And they did the trick..

We will have plenty on hand for the SF opening and upcoming shows. See you in a few short weeks!
